We got up to thunder and lighting, with pooring rain, and no water in the villa, because we were staying there!!!! We had breakfast at the Avalon. We both had eggs and bacon. It was very good. We still had the cart until 2:00, so back around the island we went. We stopped in to see our friend Jimbo at his home (Casa Roca Caribe). We finally got to meet Karen, and their doggie Leo (what a lover that dog is).
We then went around the island, then bought a shell from a guy along the road, and stopped at Playa Loncheros for their tik-n-chix on the beach. Deb bought a necklace for our granddaughter there. then we went to the turtle farm ,the pools were empty, they had released all of the turtles but the inside ones. Back into town to return the cart and restock on cervesas. The clouds thinned out and we got great shots of the sunset at Buhos, where we had drinks before heading to Macombos for dinner.
Deb had shrimp soup and a salad, and I had a whole fried fish with 4 Pacificos that Deb forced me to order with my meal. The food was good, but Deb had ordered seafood soup not shrimp soup. It was very reasonably priced. We shopped for souveniers for the other grandkids, and then went back to pack.
