We woke up to another partly cloudy day and headed off to Playa Norte to Bar Carribean Queen and our favorite waiter had the day off, it just didnt seem the same without him. We had met some people from our hotel and we went and tried the tacos at the ball park. They tasted really good, but word to the wise, I heard the bathrooms were not in good shape. I waited till we went back to our hotel to use one.
Day 5 - We woke up to a sunny day and went to find Capitan Tony. He just happened to be on a bike looking for people to go on the contony island tour. The three of us complete the amount of people he was looking for and off we went. I am not a boat lover or a snorkler but I go on these tours for my son so he can experience different things. While we were heading out the boat ride was getting a little rough for me and Capitan Tony did everything possible to help make the ride more comfortable for me. He moved me to a better spot on the boat and I could feel him drive the boat so it wouldnt smack the waves so much. I have never experienced anyone operating a tour show so much compassion. Every other tours I have been on will either ignore my fear, laugh at me, or make the boat go even faster. We had a wonderful lunch on the island and my guys went snorkeling twice and we saw a manta sting ray at the island. It was the most wonderful boat tour that I ever had. My guys enjoyed it too. We went to the Bamboo restaurant for dinner with our group from out hotel. The food was okay, the service was good but when it came time to pay the bill things went a little wrong. Our meal came to 440 pesos and since I had just gone to the bank, I only had a 500 pesos on me and we waited and we waited a long time for our change. Our group paitently waited for them to bring the change. We were planning to give a tip as we always do but when we had to wait for our change for such a long time, we decided not to bother. I dont think this the norm. Another day came to an end on Isla
