Puerto Morelos,Casa Cenote & Playa Del Carmen Daytrip 2010

I cant believe that I finally left Isla but since I was staying for so long I decided it was high time to check out some other areas down the Mayan Riviera. Went down to Puerto Morelos and had breakfast at Pelicanos Restaurant with great views of the ocean and the beach. There were not many people around so just walked the beach for a bit and then we decided to go out on a Panga and do some snorkelling. The water was pretty cool what with the weird weather we had been having for most of the winter but saw some nice fish, not allot but it was fun.

Then it was off to Casa Cenote to check it out and have lunch, not sure the name of the place but it was right on the beach and we had a few Margaritas with lunch too,Mmmm.
The Cenote was such a clear bluish, green and there were many fish swimming around.

I didnt get any pictures from Playa Del Carmen but we walked along 5th Ave and boy has it changed from when I was here last.It is so upscale, crowded with spring breakers, families and tons of kids, crazy!
Not my cup of tea really and hope Hidalgo doesnt turn out that way.
There were so many fast food restaurants (ie:Macdonalds,Burger King,Starbucks, etc)& high end very expensive stores.Had a few guys ask if we wanted to buy drugs,WTF!
I did notice you could get food and drinks still at pretty good prices, kinda the same as Isla.
Anyway just stopped at the Tequila Bar and we had a tequila and then back to the Ferry to get back to the Island we all love....
