Family Vacation Day 3

Day 3
February 25th

We had a grand plan for this morning! We got up, got ready, had a piece of toast (the only cooking we did in the fully equipped kitchen all week) and were out the door by around 9:30. We headed our caravan to the Turtle Farm. We paid our admission and bought our food and headed to the tanks. After admiring all the turtles in the tanks,

we were heading inside when we noticed a big turtle swimming in the pen surrounded by piers. We made our way out on the pier with our remaining food, and started a feeding frenzy! Between the turtles, the seagulls, the fish and the nurse shark, we got our fill of wildlife for the day!

After spending about an hour at the turtle farm,

we headed into town. Our destination-Alexia Y Geovanny. I love the huevos mortulenos there.
We ran into the market to get some watermelon juice. While we were in there, Ross made a new friend. They were playing “bullfighter”.

After tearing Ross away from his new friend, we headed to the beach. I always intend to go to Sergios, but always end up at Caribbean Queen. The waiter pulled 6 chairs together for us, set up 2 umbrellas and we were set for the day. Once the huge day-tripper boat left the pier, it was a nice, peacefully day there.

We found the pina coladas to be the best there, they were very delicious.

We spent the whole day there, snacked on guacamole and nachos for lunch. Good service, and reasonable prices. My sister’s boyfriend was due in around 4 or so, so she headed to the ferry to wait for him. The rest of us headed back to our house, where we once again floated in our pool for an hour or so.
That evening, we headed back into town and had supper at Brisa Mexicana. Their steaks cooked on the wood grill are surprisingly good, and reasonably priced. After our steaks, we of course headed to Cool for ice cream (again), and then back home.
