Went down to Buho's beach area and grabbed some loungers. It's breezy but we try and snorkel near the Avalon but the waves and wind make it difficult to see and stay in one spot very long. We try and make it near the "good rock" but it keeps pushing us into it. Just can't do it. We head back to Buho's and the boys order some lunch.
We enjoy some time in the sun.
Went back home after watching lots of dancing in the streets on the way. It's so cool that people just hop off a truck and start performing in the middle of the street. I love carnival!
Made beef fajitas for lunch and went beach glass hunting again. Got some nice treasures.
Time to get ready for the auction at La Pena. It was lots of fun.
The boys are mobile with the golf cart so they don't hang around too long.
What a great night, very well put together. Lots of excitement and I ended up getting a painting of some "roseate spoonbills" The joke was that they really were flamingos but the artist screwed them up and just made up another name. I love the watercolor.
Here are some pictures of the performers.
How cute is this little guy!
Gary, Gael and Chuck.
My friend Lynn.
Went onto the square, we were starving waiting for the rest of the troops to get together so we grabbed a couple of hot dogs. On to Rolandi's on Hidalgo and had some pizza. I was so tired and everybody else was dragging too so we headed home. I'll tell you, I do not last at night. We go to bed so early here. That's OK though. We are on vacation!
