Day 5 (3/8/07)

It is supposed to rain today and is overcast. We had an excellent breakfast at Alexia/Giovannis’s Loncheria. We decided to go to the beach until it rained but luckily it didn’t rain all day so we stayed at the beach for 7 hours. It is amazing how many cervezas you can drink in that time period. The beach of our choice is Caribbean Bar Playa Norte. The blue fabric lounge chairs are very comfortable. They are free along with an umbrella if you purchase drinks. We had Japanese peanuts and pumkin seeds and popcorn bought from the local beach vendors for a nice healthy lunch. But they went down well with the cervezas. We headed to the room for a nap before going out to dinner. We ended up on the water at Valesquez. We both had margaritas, seafood chowder and fried grouper. The drinks and food were fantastic and highly recommended.

After dinner, we walked and came upon a basketball game at the town square.
