The Jones Gang, aka hogfamily, 2010 Isla de la Mujeres Adventures: Back home in Alaska.

By:
Date: 10/12/2010

It seems that we picked a good summer to vacation away from Alaska as it was the wettest, cloudiest, and coolest summer on record in South Central Alaska. Our friends and acquaintances were quite jealous of our sun tans and our boy’s sun bleached hair.

Just before they left Isla Cyndi and Roaul, (aka jade), had this lamp made for us at Jelly Fish. We love it; it is proudly displayed in a prominent place in our living room and gets used almost every day. It will light up our soon to be long winter nights.

When Shane and I went to Cancun to get his cast removed we went to Costco. We found these Super Gigante Malvaviscos, (Alaska sized marshmallows), Shane and I thought that they would make great s’mores.

Notice that the marshmallow is roasting another marshmallow?......hummm……

We have been asked by some that are new to the hogfamily adventures why we are called hogfamily. No it’s not a descri-ption of how we eat…....although…....sometimes….....

The real reason we are known as the hogfamily. Harley Davidson’s are also known as Hogs.

As you may recall from our Isla Adventures #1 we started our trip visiting Northern California. One of the places we stopped at was Trees of Mystery.
