Thank you all for the kind words.
A few weeks before we went to Isla we were visiting a retired couple that we know. They were moving stuff from a storage shed to a new garage. Our boys helped them move some of the stuff. As a thank you the couple gave the boys an old bowling ball. I asked them what they were going to do with the bowling ball. They said that they were going to bowl with it. They had that ôDuh, Dadö look on their faces. I reminded them that they didnĺt have any bowling pins or bowling ally. Of course that was met with shrugs.
About an hour after we returned to our cabin I looked out the window to see our boys bowling, Alaskan style.
Son # 3, Daniel, had his 7th birthday while we were on Isla. Danny said that he would like to have his birthday dinner at Angeloĺs. Angeloĺs was one of our favorite places. Juan who is the person that tries to convince you to eat at Angeloĺs, (what do you call those guys?) insisted that he would have a birthday cake sent over from Cancun. He did and we had a great birthday dinner and party.
We started out with Margaritas, (virgin for the boys), compliments of Angelo the owner of Angeloĺs
Singing happy birthday.
A face full of cake.
The end of another great day.
The birthday boy.
Next time, a trip to the south end of Islaůů.
