Up early to make my coffee and a fruit smoothie.
Best thing I did was buy a Magic Bullet and bring it to Isla to make smoothies, iced coffees, frozen drinks etc.Anyway I had picked up mango's,papaya's,banana's,coconut-pineapple yogurt & fresh squeezed OJ and made really good smoothies in the morning.I also found that iced coffee's were way better than a hot cup of coffee where I would instantly start sweating with the heat and humidity, yuk!
I did pick up some fruit through the trip from the Vegie-Fruit lady that sits in front of Om Bar during the day.Look at the size of those radishes,eh!
Well it's back to the beach for my friend's first full day in the sun.We got situated at Playa Sol,Sergio's where Miguel was our GREAT waiter & friend.
We took a good walk along Playa Norte down to the Avalon so we could take in all the beach.Notice that the sand is up to the Green cover over the tire on the Pier but by the time I left Isla the beach had eroded way back behind the Life Guard structure that is in progress.
Back to sunning at Sergio's when Maria came by with the Pepita's which I had to have my friend try and she loved them along with a cold cerveza of course.
We decided to join a couple of friends to go to Baseball Tacos on their Golf Cart later that evening but they were not open until 8PM so we decided to just eat in town.We went to Amigo's that night. My friend had the Enchillads's Suiza which she said were really excellent.
After a good dinner and a drink at Bamboo we were ready to call it a day.
