Gringo's Isla Trip-Day 8

I said I was going to power walk every day (yea right!) but today is the day to get out there. Then back to the room to make coffee and a fruit smoothie.
My friend and I took a taxi $50 pesos and went to Garrafon de Castillo to do some snorkelling. It was $40 pesos to get in for the day.

Not too bad snorkelling but not near the amount of fish that were there last year.Maybe it was because of the damage to the reef or just an off day for the fish,ha!
We went across the street to El Pueblito to have the gaucamole and 4 beer for $10 under the shade of some nice trees. It was a really hot day so it was great to hide from the sun for a bit.
I loved having the room on the front of the Hotel overlooking Hildago as we would sit out there and people watch. This was our room from the street and some of the views from our balcony.

We decided to go to Miguel's for a drink and ended up staying for dinner. My friend had the Mayan Pork Chops and I had the Shrimp Tacos,3 for $6.00 (sorry I did not get pictures). We met Joanne & Tim at Miguel's,where Miguel gave us all some Pomegranite shooters.

My friend had to get up early to renew her passport in Cancun now that she had changed her ticket so it was a pretty early nite.Stopped to watch some street entertainment of those great Bongo/Flame guys and Angel's awesome dancing.
