Wednesday morning we decide to go to Cazuela M & J for breakfast, we usually like to eat there once during our trip. Butch and I get Cazuela M& J Ham, Kay decides on the Cazuela M & J Classic, and Joe gets the French toast and a side of bacon. For those of you that don’t know what a Cazuela is, it is a cross between an omelet and a soufflé baked in a dish called a Cazuela. We really like their new location, it is not quite as good as the cliff view but it is better than down that hallway they were in last year. They have several interesting pictures hung on the wall of Isla Mujeres from many years ago.
Our maid creates beautiful towel animals today.
Tonight for dinner I am on a quest to try chile relleno, and according to Holly Eats and others on the board one of the best is served at La Lomita. Butch, Kay and Joe all get the garlic shrimp and I get the chile relleno. The garlic shrimp is pretty good, but the chile relleno is delicious!
We stop at Brisa Mexicana for drinks and the waiters are really goofing around tonight…it is a blast! We also get a couple pictures of the fire dancers and the cute little pug that hangs out down there. We end day 5 with a couple tacos al pastor at Tacqueria Medina, our favorite spot for late night tacos.
