We walked to the Plaza after dinner. The festivities were mostly over, but tons of people were still around. The kids are just so adorable! I loved watching them play all over the plaza. Too cute! Several of our group walked over to the juice place caddy-corner to the basketball court and got the pistachio (sp?) ice-cream bar. I had a bite of H's. MMMMMMMMM That stuff is to die for!!
We headed to Hildago for one last walk down it. I'm so sad to be leaving this piece of heaven. I've had such a wonderful time. I just wanted to take it all in...memorize every shop, every person, every site. We walked back to the apartments and I went up to the roof. It was one of my favorite places (in case you didn't get that yet! lol) I spent some peaceful time reflecting, then went in to finish packing and head to bed.
Up early, showered and finished packing last minute items, making sure we had all our paperwork for the airport. Steven and Paulette walked with us to the ferry. As we were leaving, the rest of our group was up on the roof (ya gotta sing it! LOL) waving good-bye to us. That was so cool. :) We got on the ferry and I took a few parting shots.
I was so sad to be leaving, but sure missed my little one. We took a taxi to the airport. I was talking to the driver about my daughter and he showed us pics of his family. I just love the people here!
We got to the airport and checked in without a problem. We sat down at an extremely busy restaurant, since we were way early. We sat there forever and never were waited on. People all around us were leaving because of the wait. H finally said..."that's it...let's go". I was irritated thinking I was NEVER going to get my morning coffee! lol We headed upstairs and ran into a TGIFridays...with a SMOKING SECTION!!!! SCORE!!!!!!!!! LOL I finally got my coffee! The food paled in comparison to everything we had eaten during the week. The food on Isla was simply amazing. (I still long for it!) H went to check out the stores in the airport. I just stayed in the restaurant, drinking my coffee and reading. We finally headed to the gate, and to our plane. I hated to say good-bye to Mexico, and cannot wait to return. It was a fantastic vacation! I couldn't resist putting in one shot of the little one I had to get home to...
She's the light of my life, and I couldn't wait to tell her all about our adventures. Until next time... :)
